Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Disaster or Revolutionary?

Call of Duty, the famous FPS game series that went infamous after each annual release of a new Call of Duty game, with no real improvements introduced yearly and as seen by the majority of the gaming community, a yearly sheep magnet. However this year, this year’s Call of Duty developer Treyarch have promised time and time again a completely different approach to Call of Duty to bring back its glory days that it lost so long ago.

If you ask a gamer their opinion on the Call of Duty franchise, the majority of them will say it’s a terrible series since Modern Warfare and since it has been a copy and paste job for the 2 years of development each Call of Duty game gets. Which begs the question as to why each year its sales are increasing, despite a lot of people saying it is a terrible game. Perhaps it is the under aged players that keep increasing sales or the fact that almost all review companies keep giving the series a very high score, leading to people who dislike game eventually end up buying it.

However, a small portion of the gaming community has faith that the promises Treyarch are making ring true to their ears and believe that Call of Duty may make the comeback it has needed for so long but still many doubt this, claiming that it is just a disguise to herd in the sheep to buy their game, so Activision does not miss out on sales due to its infamous reputation.

So what will Black Ops 2 be; a disaster or a revolution. We will just have to see, but I am willing to bet that if this turns out to be lie, not a single soul will ever trust Activision again.

Top Devices to waste your money on: iPad Mini

The iPad, a revolutionary or at least exciting piece of technology that was released originally in 2010 and has since spawned new versions each year; the iPad 2 and most recently the iPad 3.
However, this year we have not been graced with the iPad 4, instead we have been given Apple’s latest version of the iPad, dubbed the “iPad Mini”. What is the iPad mini you may ask? It is Apple’s equivalent of sheep herding more or less. With no actual improvements in hardware or features, the difference between the iPads and the iPad Mini is that the exterior white frame part of the iPad has been shrunk, and so has the screen so it is overall smaller than the original iPad. There is also less white area around the screen, except for the top and bottom where it is the same. By Apple’s standard, this must be revolutionary technology for the latest gadget buyers (Most of these people are sheep).

The iPad sheep once again raises its ugly head.

With the target market being iPad users, what are the immediate impressions on a consumer? What are their first thoughts? Well mine are that it simply just looks smaller, that is all I think and that is all I can notice about it. As well as that, I did notice that it has a rather large price tag at £250, why buy this iPad Mini when I can get a device from Samsung or some other tablet manufacturer that does exactly the same thing, but for around £100 less? There is no real market for the iPad Mini or even a need except for the sheep that Apple has in their ranch. It’s an utterly pathetic piece of technology that should be burned from the face of the earth. What I expect as a potential buyer is innovation, and innovation sadly does not include making something slightly smaller, after at least a year’s gap between the last iPad and the new iPad Mini.

I expect at the very least hardware improvements, for such an expensive and admittedly useful device. Millions of people legitimately use the iPad for professional use, such as painting and it is very good at that. This iPad Mini is just shameful to the industry, technology and the iPad tablet product line itself.
