Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Disaster or Revolutionary?

Call of Duty, the famous FPS game series that went infamous after each annual release of a new Call of Duty game, with no real improvements introduced yearly and as seen by the majority of the gaming community, a yearly sheep magnet. However this year, this year’s Call of Duty developer Treyarch have promised time and time again a completely different approach to Call of Duty to bring back its glory days that it lost so long ago.

If you ask a gamer their opinion on the Call of Duty franchise, the majority of them will say it’s a terrible series since Modern Warfare and since it has been a copy and paste job for the 2 years of development each Call of Duty game gets. Which begs the question as to why each year its sales are increasing, despite a lot of people saying it is a terrible game. Perhaps it is the under aged players that keep increasing sales or the fact that almost all review companies keep giving the series a very high score, leading to people who dislike game eventually end up buying it.

However, a small portion of the gaming community has faith that the promises Treyarch are making ring true to their ears and believe that Call of Duty may make the comeback it has needed for so long but still many doubt this, claiming that it is just a disguise to herd in the sheep to buy their game, so Activision does not miss out on sales due to its infamous reputation.

So what will Black Ops 2 be; a disaster or a revolution. We will just have to see, but I am willing to bet that if this turns out to be lie, not a single soul will ever trust Activision again.
