Developer Level-5 have just confirmed Fantasy Life 2 is in development along side other new titles that are in development. They also said that they will be showcasing all these new titles alongside "something mysterious" at an upcoming event in Japan that they have named "Level-5 Vision 2015, THE BEGINNING".
The official website for the event lists games such as Fantasy Life 2, another game in the Yo-Kai Watch series and Latent 7. Latent 7 is sadly a game for iOS and android as well as 3DS, and it doesn't have Professor Latent in the game. However, there is a whole host of characters to choose from including a Zombie.
The mysterious component of the event is what they call, quote:
"...next generation major cross-media project."

The event will take place in Tokyo, April 7th and will be streamed online.
